UNHCR spokesman: UAE's relief team provides aid to refugees of all nationalities

Tunisia - June 27, 2011 (WAM) - Firas Kayali, spokesman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the UN major refugee agency, said the refugee camps built by the UAE in Ras Jedir and Dehiba on the Libyan border receives refugees of all nationalities." Kayali commended UAE's humanitarian efforts to help people who were displaced to Tunisia by the ongoing violence in Libya.
He said "UNHCR is glad to cooperate with the UAE's relief team which provides medical and food aid to all refugees, regardless of their nationalities," he added during a visit to the two camps. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
