UAE participates in High-Level Partnership Dialogue on Development in London

London - July 12, 2011 (WAM) - A special High-Level Partnership Dialogue that brought together the Arab Co-ordinating Group Institutions (ACGI) and the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) concluded in London with the participation of UAE.
The UAE delegation was headed by Dr. Saeed Mohammed Al Shamisi, Assistant to Foreign Minister for International Organisations and was consisted of Adel Al Housani Director of Projects at the Abu Dhabi Fund For Development (ADFD), Hazza Al Qahtani Director of UAE Foreign Aid Coordination Office (FACO) and Samia Al Shamisi Deputy Director for Foreign and Humanitarian Assistance at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The dialogue, hosted by the Department for International Development (DFID) at Lancaster House in London against the backdrop of the changes in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and in the run-up to the end-2011 Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in South Korea, examined the current situation in depth.
