Iran passes the danger of ammoniac reservoir puncher

(UPDATE 2)
Azerbaijan, Baku, August8 / Trend /
Details added (Previous version updated at 11:46)
Iranian engineers have suppressed the ammoniac reservoir puncher by unloading the ammoniac from the reservoir, FNA reported.
"The threat of danger has subsided. Everything is under control and workers have resumed normal work", the Secretary of the Petrochemical Special Zone Crisis Abolhassan Seyf told FNA.
The ammoniac reservoir was punctured at the Iranian Pardis petrochemical complex in the Asalluyeh region. Workers have been evacuated due to the risk of a freeze within a 3km radius, the Mehr News Agency reported earlier.
A full alert was issued at Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) due to a puncture in one of the ammoniac reservoirs in Phase one of the Pardis petrochemical complex, early Monday morning.
To prevent possible incidents, evacuation began of Zagros, Pardis 1 and 2 complexes in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) while a rescue team, fire fighters, and a technical team started to evacuate the ammoniac reservoirs.
The high temperatures of ammonic injected into the reservoirs increased the inner pressure, leading to a 3cm puncture.
There have been no casualties resulting from the incident, so far. The technical team aims to evacuate and transfer ammoniac to the urea production line.
Another explosion in August 2010 at Perdis oil refinery left six dead and injured.
