Azerbaijani Health Ministry disseminated official information about health state of people injured in an explosion at Azpetrol gas station in Hajigabul region.
As Azerbaijani Health Ministry’s spokesperson Safaya Mammadova told Trend on Wednesday, in total 24 people were injured at the scene, two of them - Eldar Babayev and Chingiz Hajiyev - died on the spot and 11 injured were taken to the Hajigabul region’s Central Hospital. He said one of them - a Georgian citizen arrived at the Clinic Center in Baku by his car, four were delivered to Baku by air medical service.
"Etibar Safarov was delivered to hospital in a state of shock, burns in respiratory tracts, 100-percent skin burns, and despite all efforts he died at 23.00 on Aug. 9. Other three were slightly injured, two were already discharged, and one will be discharged today," Mammadova said.
