The military parade, accepted by the Commander in Chief - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, has finished in Astana.
Upon conclusion of the event, held at the capital's main square near the "Kazakh eli" monument, the President went to the tribune, surrounded by the citizens and guests of Astana, who came to see parade. The President shook hands with people and once again congratulated all on the holiday.
Holiday events will begin in the capital and regional centers in the afternoon.
Constitution Day in Kazakhstan is a state holiday. It is celebrated on Aug. 30 and is considered a day off. The 15th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution is marked this year.
