Rupture of Israeli-Egyptian relations to increase Tel Aviv's interest to Azerbaijani gas

A possible rupture of relations between Israel and Egypt will cancel all existing agreements on the supply of Egyptian gas to Israel, which, in turn, can lead to increased interest of the latter to the Azerbaijani gas, the head of Egyptian "Al Ahram"research center Yousri Ezbawi believes.
"The rupture of the Egyptian-Israeli cooperation on gas supplies will force Israel to look for another partner. In this case, Azerbaijan is an alternative for Israel," Ezbawi told Trend by telephone from Cairo.
