UN supports Turkmen Parliament development

Turkmen Parliament (Medjlis) and UN Development Program ( UNDP ) are joinly realizing "Program on Parliament development support", Neytralniy Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Monday.
Under the program, foreign experts from Latvia and Russia held a seminar in the Academy of Public Service under the President of Turkmenistan, basically focusing on election system legislation in the context of international and local practice.
Earlier, Turkmen president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated about the importance of upgrading national legislation on the base of international practice, world experience and international legal acts.
