Israel is a major threat to the Middle East region as it possesses a nuclear weapon, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday in his speech during his tour to the South Africa.
Furthermore, Erdogan said Israel's violation of the international laws has resulted in losing Turkey as its ally.
"We do not have any problems with Israeli people. All our claims are related to the Israeli authorities," he said. "The international community should prevent Israel from pursuing the wrong policy."
The crisis between Turkish and Israeli governments did not result from Turkey's promoting the recognition of the Palestinian state, Erdogan added.
