UAE Ministry of Interior delivers cars for disabled individuals

Abu Dhabi, Oct 6, 2011 (WAM) - A number of specially designed cars were delivered yesterday by the Interior Ministry officials to individuals with physical disabilities or challenges. The delivery of the sophisticated adapted cars by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, is part of the "Seedling of Hope" initiative by HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
"This generous grant by H.H Sheikh Saif is a continuation of his efforts to provide support for the disabled to enable them to overcome difficulties," Al Shafaar said in remarks at the ceremony which was attended by senior officials. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
