Iranian-Dutch keeper joins Iran`s Traktorsazi

TABRIZ,Dec.24 (MNA) -- Iranian-Dutch goalie Aghil Etemadi joined Traktorsazi for an undisclosed fee on a18-month contract on Thursday. The 24-year-old keeper began his career with Heerenveen in the Netherlands then joined Groningen. Etemadi, who has also played at Netherlands U-21 team, is looking to play in Iran football team. “I love Iran and I like to play in the national team. Hopefully, I show a good performance in Traktorsazi and the Iranian football officials invite me to the team,” Etemadi said. Traktorsazi is fourth in the Iran Professional League standings table. Elsewhere, Persepolis football team is interested to sign Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari from Al Gharafa of Qatar.
