Persian novella “Pig’s Bone” appears in Russian

TEHRAN,Jan.30(MNA) – The renowned novella “Pig’s Bone and Leper’s Hands” by Iranian author Mostafa Mastur is now available for Russian readers. The book was translated into Russian by Mirzayev Oktay Javanshirovich with support from the Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Kazakhstan and was released by Al-Hoda International Publications. In this book, Mastur narrates the lives of different residents of a tower in Tehran. Their problems and everyday lives are cleverly tied to each other throughout the story. “Pig’s Bone and Leper’s Hands” was previously translated by Ertugrul Ertekin into Turkish and by Maryam Heidari into Arabic. Bianca Maria Filippini has recently translated the book into Italian.
