Iranian film “A Separation” shines at Jaipur film festival

TEHRAN,Feb.2 (MNA) – The Golden Camel Award of Jaipur International Film Festival was added to international collection of awards of Asghar Farhadi’s “A Separation”. The film’s actress Sareh Bayat also received the Best Actress Award of the festival which was held from January 27 to 31 in India. The Red Rose Award of the festival went to “Golchehreh” by Vahid Musaiian. The award is granted to the best released film from October 2010 to October 2011. The animation “The Jar” by Ali Ahmadi also received the Best Animation of Award of the festival. “Strangers” by Abbas Rafeii, “Marine Silk Road” by Mohammad Bozorgnia and“The Subscriber”by Loqman Khaledi were other Iranian films screened at the festival. The Jaipur International Film Festival, the world's fastest growing film festival, is held every year now for 5 days from 27-31 January in Jaipur, India Launched in January 2009, the Jaipur International Film Festival -JIFF is spreading and establishing its name by organizing a world class film festival every year in Rajasthan’s Pink City of Jaipur in India.
