Iran will support opponents of Israel : Supreme Leader

TEHRAN, Feb. 4(MNA) -- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei dismissed the claims that Iran is interfering in Bahrain’s internal affairs, noting, “Such a claim is a sheer lie because if we had intervened, the situation in Bahrain would have been different.” “We clearly announce whenever we intervene, as we intervened in the victorious 33-day and 22-day wars [Lebanon 2006 and Gaza 2008-2009] due to (our) opposition to the cancerous tumor of the Zionist regime, and we will support any nation or group that opposes the Zionist regime from now on, and we have no fear of announcing this.”
