Iraq’s Ayad Allawi to visit Iran soon: report

TEHRAN, Feb. 4 (MNA) – The Iraqi news agency Al Nakheel recently reported that Ayad Allawi, the leader of the al-Iraqiya List, will take a trip to Iran in the near future. Quoting Iraqi sources, the report said that Allawi will hold talks with Iranian officials on the political crisis engulfing Iraq. Allawi and Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq recently held a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Danaiifar on bilateral issues and political developments in Iraq.
