IRGC starts war games in south Iran

TEHRAN, Feb. 4 (MNA) - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) ground forces started a war game in southern Iran on Saturday. IRGC Ground Forces Commander Mohammad Khakpour said the maneuver, codenamed “Supporters of Velayat”, falls within a series of professional drills by the forces under his command. The maneuver will put on display part of the capabilities of the IRGC ground forces in the face of threats against Iran, the commander explained.
