Iran plans to send new generation of satellites into space

TEHRAN, Feb. 6 (MNA) – Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi announced on Sunday that Iran planned to launch new generation of domestically manufactured satellites in the near future. Vahidi also said that the Fajr (Dawn) satellite is the first new-generation satellite that will be put into orbit. Iran has already sent three satellites, namely the Omid (Hope), the Rasad (Observation), and the Navid (Promise), into space.
