Iran`s main principlist group decides on 27 members of Tehran candidate list

TEHRAN, Feb. 6 (MNA) – The United Front of Principlists made a final decision about 27 members of its 30-person candidate list for the Tehran constituency as the parliamentary election is approaching. The decision was made in a meeting of the front’s central council on Sunday night. It will also decide about the three remaining persons on the list later. Vocal lawmaker Ali Mottahari, Majlis Energy Committee chairman Hamidreza Katouzian, and Majlis Education and Research Committee chairman Ali Abaspour Tehrani, who is also a member of the Islamic Coalition Party, were not included in the list.
