Sharjah Media Centre launches bilingual website for Government Communication Forum

Sharjah, Feb 9, 2012 (WAM) - Sharjah Media Centre, the communications arm of the government of Sharjah, has launched a bilingual (English and Arabic) website for the Government Communication Forum. The flagship event of Sharjah Media Centre, the first Government Communication Forum (GCF 2012) will be held from 26 - 27 February at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). The event is envisioned to benchmark the emirate's government communication standards against global best practices and examine ways for infusing fresh methodologies into the communication mechanism among government departments in Sharjah. The newly launched GCF portal offers details on the forum's two-day agenda and lists speakers that will headline the sessions. The itinerary and biographies of the guest speakers are also available on an event-specific brochure that can be printed and downloaded. The portal will continually post updates about the Government Communication Forum, which can be accessed through browsing the Media Centre tab that is linked to a fully integrated library featuring press releases, images and videos related to the event. The creatively designed website offers easy navigation options.
