Russian musicians to join Iranian orchestra for Tehran concert
TEHRAN,Feb.9(MNA) -- Iran’s Rudaki Symphony Orchestra has hired three Russian musicians for a Tehran concert, which is scheduled to be performed in Tehran next week.
Violin virtuosos Graf Mourja and Lyudmila Kraikova, and pianist Natalia Gous will accompany the orchestra during the concert, which will be conducted by Arash Amini at Vahdat Hall on February 13.
A wide repertoire of pieces composed by Gioacchino Antonio Rossini, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Dimitri Dimitrievich Shostakovich will be performing by the orchestra.
Mourja and Gous also are scheduled to perform a duet at Tehran’s Rudaki Hall on February 14.
Mourja accompanied the Rudaki Symphony Orchestra in concerts in Tehran last November.
