U.S. retreats have provided Muslims with unique opportunities: Supreme Leader

TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that the United States’ repeated retreats and the Zionist regime’s increasing weakness have provided Muslims with unique opportunities. The Leader made the remarks in an address to a number of government officials, ambassadors of Muslim countries in Iran, and the participants of the 25th International Islamic Unity Conference during a meeting in Tehran on Friday. The Islamic unity conference opened in Tehran on February 8 and was brought to a close on February 10. In his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “The developments and revolutions in the region and also the repeated retreats of the United States and the hegemonistic machines and the increasing weakness of the Zionist regime are unique opportunities for the Islamic ummah which must be taken full advantage of.” The Leader also commented on the domineering powers’ efforts and plots meant to silence the voice of the Islamic Revolution, noting, “Despite all the pressure and conspiracies, the Islamic Revolution… has stood firm, grown day by day, and its power has increased.” Ayatollah Khamenei also advised all Muslims to maintain unity.
