Iran`s Arak reactor will undergo initial test by Sept.

TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (MNA) – The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran director announced on Friday that the 40-megawatt nuclear reactor in Arak will be initially launched within the first half of the next Iranian calendar year which starts on March 20. Fereydoun Abbasi told that in the test run of the reactor, “virtual” (non-nuclear) fuel will be used. On Wednesday, the Tehran research reactor was loaded with domestically produced nuclear fuel plates.
