German musician Stephan Micus to perform in Shiraz

TEHRAN,Feb.20(MNA) -- The Hafez Artistic Cultural Complex in the Iranian city of Shiraz will be playing host to a concert by German musician and composer Stephan Micus today. The 59-year-old musician also gave performances during the 27th Fajr International Music Festival, which came to an end yesterday. Micus’s musical style is heavily influenced by his study of traditional instruments and musical techniques from Japan, India, South America, and other countries around the world. In many cases, he plays all of the instruments on his recordings, combining styles from different countries and using the instruments in unprecedented ways in each of his pieces.
