EU should not miss opportunity to improve ties with Iran : Iranian FM

TEHRAN,Feb.21(MNA)--Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the conference on Iran and the Economic Cooperation Organization, which opened at the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies on Monday,Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi advised the European Union to not miss the opportunity to improve relations with the Islamic Republic. “Iran is seeking better relations with Europe,” Salehi said, adding that improving relations with the EU is a priority in Iran’s foreign policy. “However, we have not received the necessary response,” he added. Salehi also said, “Iran is a reliable partner for the European Union… My suggestion to Europe is to not miss the opportunity to have better relations with Iran.”
