Iran not enriching uranium above 20 percent

TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) -- Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency Ali Asghar Soltanieh rejected the claims that Iran had been enriching uranium above the purity level of 20 percent, saying, “As it has been stated in the report, Iran has not enriched uranium above 20 percent, and the amount of uranium enriched up to 20 percent has been precisely stated in the report, which has been 95.4 kilograms so far.” He also said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran showed that Iran has taken a practical step toward continuing negotiations through submitting a declaration in regard to the director general’s previous report on the alleged (weapons) studies.”
