Hegemons will fail to save Israel : Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN,Feb.27(MNA)--Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad held a meeting with the Lebanese Minister of National Defense Fayez Ghosn on Sunday, in which he said that the hegemonistic powers will fail in their efforts to save the Zionist regime. “The hegemons’ purpose is to save the Zionist regime, but they will definitely not be able to realize this desire because the world has changed and their… era has drawn to a close. And the system they have imposed on the world will collapse, and a fair and humane order will be promoted,” Ahmadinejad stated. He added, “The Zionist regime is a vicious and inhumane entity and will massacre all the people in the region if it finds an opportunity, and it has stated this as one of its aspirations, but their desires will not be realized with the grace of God.” The domineering powers regard Iran and Lebanon as impediments to the implementation of their plans in the region, Ahmadinejad said, adding, “We have to become united (to realize) our humanitarian objectives and use all of our potential.” The Iranian president also called on the Lebanese people and government to remain vigilant about the enemies’ plots meant to undermine national cohesion in the country.
