IKCO exports 15,000 cars to CIS

TEHRAN,March 7(MNA)--The Iranian carmaker Iran Khodro Company aims to export 15 thousand passenger cars to Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Belarus by the end of the current calendar year (March 19), the company’s managing director said. Javad Najmeddin announced that two thousands of these cars would be produced in the production plant in Belarus. Currently, seven percent of the company’s output is exported. The company intends to increase the figure to 12 percent in the next year and 20 percent afterwards. In order to expand its export to CIS, Africa and Latin America, the company has recently made agreements with the related countries. IKCO is the largest car manufacturing company in the Middle East, the products of which are currently exported to more than 30 countries around the Globe.
