Book on Imam Khomeini unveiled in Beirut

TEHRAN,March 7 (MNA) – A book narrating the greatness of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini written by Lebanese Hezbollah deputy chief Sheikh Naim Qassem in Arabic was unveiled during a ceremony in Beirut on Tuesday. Entitled “Imam Khomeini, Nobility and Modernism”, the book was introduced in the presence of Iran’s ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi and a group of Lebanese authors and political officials. Sheikh Qassem has written about Imam Khomeini and his character, Roknabadi said. The author has studied Imam Khomeini and his thoughts, his statements and his positions in different situations from the very beginning of the revolution until the victory of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing the nobility of his thoughts, he added. The ceremony concluded with a tribute to Sheikh Qassem for his efforts in reinforcing the culture of resistance.
