Persian encyclopedia of Orientalists ready for publication

TEHRAN,March 15(MNA) -- The compilation of a seven-volume Persian encyclopedia of Western Orientalists has been completed and the collection will be published in the near future. The encyclopedia has been translated into Persian from several languages and is now ready, scholar Seyyed Jalil Shaheri Langerudi told. Shaheri Langerudi was responsible for translating the entries from English to Persian. The first four volumes were completed earlier and the final three volumes of the encyclopedia are now ready for publication by the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies, he said. The encyclopedia features biographies of Western Orientalists as well examples of the scholars’ works.
