Bahraini-Japanese cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb. 16. (BNA) -- President of HRH Premier's Court Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received here today the newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako. Shaikh Hussam lauded the deep-rooted Bahraini-Japanese relations of friendship and cooperation on all levels. He affirmed Bahrain's keenness to further advance bilateral relations and upgrade them in various fields. He wished the Ambassador every success in assuming his diplomatic assignment and enhancing bilateral relations. The Ambassador expressed delight at the advanced level of joint cooperation, commending the Bahraini government's keenness on promoting bilateral relations in all fields. He expressed hope that bilateral cooperation will flourish in the coming period so as to serve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples.
