HM King pays tribute to late Iraqi scholar

Manama, Apr7(BNA)His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today sent a cable of condolences to the bereaved family of Iraqi Scholar Dr. Sayyid Muhammed Bahr al-Uloom, who passed away today in Najaf . HM the King extended deepest condolences and sympathy on the sad demise of the Iraqi scholar, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace and give his bereaved family courage and fortitude. HM the King paid a posthumous tribute to the deceased, hailing his religious stature, patriotic stances, dedication in serving his homeland and advocating the causes of the Islamic nation. In the cable, HM the King paid homage to the late scholar for his dedicated efforts to promote religious research and disseminate the spirit of tolerance and moderation.
