BDF Chief of Staff attends GCC meeting

Doha, Apr.20 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqer Al-Nuaimi has today attended the 6th consultative meeting of the High Military Committee. The two-day meeting opened today (April20) in Doha, Qatar, in the presence of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) armies Chiefs of Staff. The delegation discussed key issues which contribute to consolidating collective defence policy and strengthen military cooperation between member states. The drive is in line with the GCC leaders' strategy to promote self-defence capabilities and unify joint security. Lt.-Gen Dhiab bin Saqer Al-Nuaimi returned to Bahrain this evening in the company of senior BDF officers.
