“Mongolia and Myanmar are possible to cooperation in new opportunities”

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia and Myanmar have a big potential for progressing bilateral cooperation in the banking and financial sectors and expanding rooms for further collaboration. This statement was sounded by President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj at a meeting with U Kyaw Kyaw Maung, the Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar which was held during his recent visit to that country. The Central Bank governor said tha Muanmar Central Bank will back all cooperation-related initiatives and promote bilateral ties political and financial spheres. The Mongolian President emphasized importance of diversifying the economic and financial cooperation, and said Mongolia is always ready to share its experiences with developing nations in the banking sector. Similarities in religion, culture and history between the two nations make it easier to boost the bilateral cooperation, the President said.
