Forty Lao Martial Arts players learn from Japanese masters in Tokyo

(KPL) Forty Lao delegates who spent 11-day visit in Japan, Tokyo and other local places, under the JENESYS short-term programme finished their training and exchange programme in Japan on February 4th, 2009.
Thirty nine Aikido, Judo and Karate players and one official from National Committee of sports and Physical Culture together with their Japanese coaches who visited Japan from January 25th to February 4th learned authentic Japanese martial arts in Tokyo, Nara and Ibaraki prefectures. Besides their intensive training programmes hosted by various universities or institutions with different counterparts to prepare for the 25th SEA Games in Vientiane in December, they also paid courtesy visit on Ministry of Foreign Affairs and had friendship programs with Japanese counterparts.
It is very much hoped that Lao delegation take full advantage of the exchange programme for their future competition and career and ultimately further strengthen relations among Lao P.D.R. and Japan through newly-built friendship that goes beyond languages and differences.
