Gargash: MSFNCA focuses on strengthening staff skills
Abu Dhabi, February 9, 2009 (WAM) - HE Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA), called for stronger cooperation and communication between the Ministry's employees and management. Dr. Gargash was speaking at the occasion of the Ministry's annual lunch, held in Al Maya resort in Abu Dhabi to honour the achievements of employees over the last year.
Dr Gargash said the Ministry is committed to further strengthen the capabilities and skills of employees, stressing on their central role in achieving the ministry's strategic objectives. He thanked the team for their efforts and outstanding achievements during 2008, which helped support the Ministry's goals and contributed to enhancing its levels of performance.
He said: 'We recognize the important contributions of our employees and encourage them to hone their skills and show excellence in all fields. Honouring our employees is part of our development plans to motivate and enhance their potential. We regard our team as the main support and key driver for the development and growth of the Ministry '.
Tariq Lootah, Director General of the MSFNCA, highlighted the Ministry's achievements in the last three years, and expressed his optimism in executing its plans and participating in the drive for governmental excellence with other institutions.
Lootah expressed his satisfaction over the efforts of the team at the Ministry in preparing action plans for the future. He also highlighted the partnership between the top management and the staff in the Ministry's drive towards excellence and creativity. Lootah stressed on the importance of implementing the set plans in line with the Ministry's ambitions in raising performance levels.
Lootah honoured MSFNCA employees from different departments, who contributed in developing daily practices and benefited the work environment, and presented them with appreciation certificates and awards.
