Abdullah holds talks with his Omani counterpart
Muscat, February 10, 2009 (WAM) - UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks here yesterday with Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Omani Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs, over the latest regional and international developments.
Situation in Gaza figured high during the talks which also discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Oman.
Sheikh Abdullah, who returned back home today, is scheduled to confer tomorrow with his Lebanese counterpart Fuzi Saloukh who will be accompanying President Michel Suleiman of Lebanon during his visit to the UAE tomorrow.
Sheikh Abdullah will fly on Wednesday to Saudi Arabia to hold talks with his Saudi counterpart Prince Saud Al Faisal as part of consultations he is conducting with a number of top Arab officials.
So far, Sheikh Abdullah's Arab tour took him to Qatar, Jordan and Oman.
