Gargash receives credentials of EU Commission Representative
Abu Dhabi, February 10, 2009 (WAM) - UAE State Minister for Foreign Affairs HE Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, received yesterday the credentials of European Union (EU) Commission Representative Luigi Narboni, EU representative in Riyadh.
Gargash welcomed the EU envoy and wished him success in his new job, adding that the cooperation between the UAE and EU would be sustained in the best interest of two sides. Meanwhile, Narboni expressed his pleasure about representing EU commission in the UAE. He lauded the position occupied by the UAE regionally and internationally, as well as wise policies of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
