DPRK's Bolstering of Nuclear Force Is Just: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The U.S. cooked up a new "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK by abusing the name of the UN Security Council, stunned by a series of successes made by the DPRK in its drive for bolstering its nuclear strike capability. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Friday says: It is unreasonable for the UNSC to fault the DPRK's ballistic rocket test launches as all the steps taken by the DPRK to bolster up its nuclear force are definitely just exercise of its sovereignty to preserve peace in the Korean peninsula and the region and realize genuine international justice by foiling the nuclear war threat unprecedentedly escalated by the U.S. and its racket of sanctions and pressure on the DPRK. However, the U.S. made a "draft sanctions resolution" in collusion with China at a backroom and pressed other countries to follow it, terming it a "general will of the international community", a high-handed and arbitrary practice. It is, indeed, the height of impudent arrogance, egoism and double standard for them to urge the DPRK not to conduct any test and launch while getting hell-bent on arms buildup including modernization of nuclear weapons. "Sanctions resolution" is just unreasonable by origin. Now the U.S. and its followers are frantically staging the racket of sanctions but it is no more than last-ditch efforts of those exasperated by the might of the DPRK rapidly getting stronger. It is a wild dream for the hostile forces to hinder or block the development of the nuclear force of the DPRK even a bit with such "resolution." -0-
