UAE, Lebanon sign tourism cooperation agreement
Abu Dhabi, February 12, 2009 (WAM) - The UAE and Lebanon has signed an agreement on setting up a joint committee and executive protocol of tourism cooperation agreement in presence of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Lebanese President Michel Suleiman.
The agreement on setting up the joint committee was signed by UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh. Meanwhile, the UAE Minister for Culture, Youth and Community Development HE Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais and Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh signed the executive protocol of the tourism cooperation agreement between the two countries from 2009- 2011.
Present at the ceremony were HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, representative of ruler for Eastern Region, Interior Minister HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Presidential Affairs Minister HH Sheikh, Sheikhs, ministers and others.
