UAE Ambassador meets official of Bilbao International Exhibition
Madrid, February 16, 2009 (WAM) - Dr. Hessah bint Abdullah Al-Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to Spain, met here with Mario Geovar, Senior Official of the Bilbao International Exhibition and Coordinator of European Future Energy Forum 2009, scheduled to be held in Bilbao from June 9 - 11.
Geovar presented official invitation to the UAE Ambassador to attend the forum. He expressed the hope that the invitation would pave the way for companies operating in the energy sector in UAE, particularly, the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), to attend the forum.
The UAE Ambassador, who showed support for this initiative, expressed the hope that the forum will mark the beginning of fruitful cooperation for sharing of expertise in this vital sector, in view of the fact that the UAE attaches great importance to the energy sector, in general and clean and renewable energy, in particular.
