ADM discusses cooperation with Mayor of Chicago

Abu Dhabi, Feb 17, 2009 (WAM) - Director General of Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) Khalifa Mohammed Fares Al Mazroui and the visiting Mayor of Chicago (State of Illinois) Richard M. Daley discussed yesterday avenues of cooperation between the two sides in various projects of the ADM.
The meeting was also attended by the delegation accompanying the Mayor and senior executives of the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The visiting mayor had a brief review of the development of the city of Abu Dhabi over the last decades and the attention given to the city's development by President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
They discussed the areas of cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides for the city's development.
Al Mazroui briefed the visiting delegation on the experiences of Abu Dhabi over the last years in building a solid infrastructure as well as its housing and constructional development.
Al Mazroui and Daley exchanged souvenirs at the end of the meeting.
