Mohammed Bin Rashid receives son of Ghaddafi, Intel's President
Dubai, Feb 19, 2009 (WAM) - Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum yesterday received Engineer Al-Saae'di Al Ghaddafi, son of Muammar Al-Gaddafi, the Leader of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Great Jamahiriya.
At the meeting at Sheikh Mohammed's Rest Area at Al Marmoum, Al Ghaddafi conveyed to Sheikh Mohammed greetings from the Libyan leader as well as his best wishes for the UAE's leadership and people of more progress and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohammed asked Al Saae'di Al Ghaddafi to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Libyan Leader.
Present at the meeting were Charge d'Affairs of the Libyan Embassy Mohammed Abu Al Qassim Al Bou Eshie.
Also today, H.H Sheikh Mohammed received Paul S. Otellini, president and chief executive officer of Intel Corporation.
At the meeting, Otellini expressed confidence in Dubai's status as a regional technological and economical hub.
He further hailed the logistical facilities provided by the government of the UAE and Dubai to global corporations.
Present at the two meetings were Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Reem Al Hashimi, Minister of State , Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of The Ruler's Court, Major General Musabbah Rashid Al-Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Dubai Public Prosecutor Essam AL Humaidan, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of Dubai Ports '&' Customs, Emaar Properties chairman Mohammed Ali Alabbar, Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Dubai Protocol.
