IDEX's success attributed to UAE leadership: Ahmed bin Saeed
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chief Executive and Chairman of The Emirates Group, said the success scored by the International Defence and Exhibition Conference is attributed to unlimited support of the UAE leadership.
He told Dira' Al Watan Magazine, which will issue daily bulletin at IDEX 2009, in a statement that the success of IDEX has good impact on different activities in the UAE, adding that it has also proven that the UAE has become world hub for the specialised international exhibitions.
Sheikh Ahmed said that holding of the IDEX in the UAE puts the country at spotlight, adding that warm and extensive relations of the UAE with the world countries, raise the level of official delegations taking part at the event despite the global financial crunch. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
