Myanmar senior military delegation concludes Laos visit
(KPL) A Myanmar high ranking military delegation headed by General Gnura Shwemann, Member of State Peace and Development Council, Chief of General Staff ( Army Navy Air Forces) concluded its two day official friendship visit to Laos yesterday.
The visit was response to the invitation of Lieutenant General Douangchay Phichit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense.
After arrival, the sides held a bilateral talks on 22 February to review their past co-operation and informed each other on their respective activities on the social-economic development and national defense and security affairs.
At the talks, the sides also discussed their co-operation in the future, especially the exchange of visit between the two high ranking officials and the co-operation on border affairs.
During the visit, the Myanmar senior military delegation also laid a wreath at the soldier unknown monument.
