IGG signs deals with AM General, General Dynamics at IDEX
Abu Dhabi, Feb 25, 2009 (WAM) - As the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX 2009) entered its third day, UAE's leading defence product and system supplier, International Golden Group (IGG) signed two agreements today, each with AM General and General Dynamics.
The agreements to increase the market share of the defence products manufactured by these two companies were signed by Chairman of the IGG, Retired Lt. General Mohammed Hilal Suroor Al Ka'abi with officials representing AM General and General dynamics.
US based AM General, the manufacturers of Hummer vehicles specialises in the design, engineering, production, and technical and parts support of military and special purpose vehicles.
General Dynamics is a market leader in business aviation; land and expeditionary combat vehicles and systems, armaments, and munitions; shipbuilding and marine systems; and mission-critical information systems and technologies.
