17TH ANNIVERSARY OF KHOJALY GENOCIDE COMMEMORATED ABROAD

Ankara, February 26 (AzerTAc). Denmark-based “Motherland” society has organized
Wednesday a conference to mark the 17th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide in the
country`s Harley city.

Chairman of the society Safar Sadigi told of the acts of genocide committed by
Armenians against Azerbaijanis.
A documentary on the Khojaly massacre was shown during the event, as well.

Azerbaijan`s Diaspora organizations in Stockholm, Sweden held a protest action on
the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
Members of the organizations spoke of the massacre. They also adopted a resolution
condemning the Khojaly tragedy and forwarded it to international human rights
organizations.

Another event to remember victims of the Khojaly genocide was organized in Igdir,
Turkey.
Speakers at the event briefed participants on savageries committed by Armenians
against the Turkic world.
They called on the world community to condemn perpetrators of the genocide, to
support Azerbaijan`s fair position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
