Malaysians Ahmad Amsyar-Tze Liang In 10th Place In World Cup 3m Springboard Synchronised

KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- Malaysian diving duo, Ahmad Amsyar Azman and Ooi Tze Liang finished the men's 3m springboard synchronised event in the 10th position on the second day of the 2018 FINA Diving World Cup in Wuhan, China. Ahmad Amsyar-Tze Liang chalked up 379.41 points in six jumps while the winners Cao Yuan-Xie Siyi of China garnered 448.74 points to defeat Chris Mears-Jack Laugher of Britain with 440.64 points in second place. The bronze medal went to Jahir Ocampo Marroquin-Rommel Pacheco Marrufi of Mexico with 435.72 points, according to FINA website, www.fina.org. Meanwhile, Pandelela Rinong Pamg advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s 10m platform with 295.70 points. Only the top 18 divers qualified for the next round on Wednesday. -- BERNAMA
