Baku, July 4, AZERTAC Azerbaijani basketball players have defeated the hosts of the tournament, San Marino 62-51 at the FIBA U16 European Championship, Division C. Azerbaijani Jabrayil Akbarov registered the highest-scoring individual performance on the first day of the tournament with a 32-point, 14-rebound and 5-block performance. Azerbaijan will next face Moldova.
