Qatar Bowling Team Win Gold Medal in World Youth Championship

Washington, August 02 (QNA) - Qatar national team player Ghanem Abu Jassum won gold medal in 2018 World Youth Bowling Championship in the United States. Winning the gold medal for Jassum came after collecting 1428 points in singles and 1360 points in teams, which enabled him to take first place in the overall ranking of participants in the tournament, which includes the best 132 players in the world of youth representing 36 countries. The President of Qatar Bowling Federation Abdulla Hassan, praised the results achieved by the Qatari team in this tournament, which includes the best young players in the world. He thanked the technical and administrative bodies of the team and the committee of the national teams under the chairmanship of Abdullah Sultan Al Qattan for the efforts exerted by them in preparing the team for the World Youth Championship in the United States and wished them success in teams competition after qualifying for the golden box where Qatar play on Friday in teams competition and the team is eligible to win one of the top three places or to secure the trophy.
