Qatar Volleyball Team Qualify for Quarter-finals of Asian Games

Jakarta, August 26 (QNA) - Qatar volleyball team qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition at the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia after beating Myanmar 3-0 (25-21, 25-18 and 25-20) in the round of 16. The Qatari team dominated the game since the beginning and played at a top level. Qatar will take on Japan in the quarter-finals on Tuesday. The equestrian events will continue on Monday at the Asian Games and the Qatari jockeys will participate in the teams' jumping competitions. Meanwhile, Qatar's women table tennis team were kicked out of the preliminaries qualify for the main round after losing to the Group A teams India, Iran, and China. (QNA)
