Qatar Champions Qualify for 4/400 Relay Race Final in Asian Games

Jakarta, August 29 (QNA) - Qatari runners Abdalelah Haroun, Abderrahman Samba, Mohammed Noor and Mohammed Abbas qualified for the 4/400 relay final in the athletics competition at the 18th Asian Games, which is currently being hosted by Indonesia and will conclude on September 2nd. The Qataris secured the first place in the semi-finals, which took place today (08.06 GMT), and beat Japan athletes with a time of (11: 06.3 minutes) and Bahrain's athletes with a time of (3: 06.3 minutes). Qatar has won 10 medals to date (4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze). (QNA)
